By 8 weeks you were pretty strong and were able to almost hold up your head on your own. Thank goodness, it used to scare Mommy when people would hold you and not support your neck. I was always watching, ready to pounce. You also made Mommy so happy when you started passing out the smiles. They were rare at first, and other people swear they were gas, but I know you and I know they were happy smiles. Mommy bought you these pacifiers she had seen that had little stuffed animals on them. I bought you a brown puppy, a red puppy, an elephant and a giraffe. They were neat because you were able to hold on to them and even guide them back into your mouth if they came out. Sometimes you would just tuck it real tight under your underarm when you slept.
You slept
You smiled
You found your thumb
You spit up when Daddy would hold you
You played with your puppy
And were the cutest boy Mommy had ever seen
To date this is probably in the top 5 favorite pictures I have of you, that look you have on your face is just so sweet
